Mining activity will still be focused in Mt. Redondo for the next ten years. The company will continue to extract metallurgical chromite through the open pit method. The deposits' overburden are stripped with the use of heavy equipment and the corresponding waste or overburden are properly moved to fill up favorable gulleys nearby.
